The other way is to show the nameplate style names by using some nameplate addon, I'd assume plater works but I gave no experience with it, I do know that elvui would work for sure though. Then from the nameplate settings you just disable friendly player health bars and you should have names remaining. Notification of a frontal on the nameplate. Hi, I'm using Kui nameplates and trying to only see the NAME on my friendly players, in a readable style. I turn friendly nameplates ON. In town they're fancy shiny showing class colours etc. In dungeons/raids however, players have a health bar over their head aswell as a cast bar / debuff icon. I don't want that last part. Nameplates in arena. After recently switching off of player nameplates (was having issues not seeing my own buffs and having a hard time getting it customized to my liking) I’ve decided to try to find a new nameplate addon. I just downloaded threat plates but I’m struggling to customize friendly and enemy nameplates independent of one another.

Unfortunately, WoW blocks all nameplate addons (plater and threat plates) to touching the friendly nameplates in PvE instances. Afflicted affix is using default Blizzard nameplates. It's color coded so you know which mobs have casts to interrupt or should be focused. I recommend looking through the wago.io Plater profiles list and finding one that has a decent amount of installs and has been updated recently (i.e. this December). rmeza17 • 1 yr. ago.
